Thanks guys for doing this podcast! I'm enjoying it and learning alot. Politics seem to 'pollute' every aspect of our lives here lately and it's good to hear this perspective.
Thanks for providing the series. I have a few comments/ questions. It is pretty clear that you have no reservations about gently yet firmly applying God's standards within the church community. Amen to that. It also sounds like outside the church community the goal is to change the unbeliever's beliefs by sharing God's wisdom with them. After all it will be their faith that changes them. What I am curious to hear about is how and when you apply God's standards with friends and family members that are unbelievers. I imagine that there are some things that you would just not tolerate in your dealings with unbelievers and I am curious hear your thoughts about when, where and how you draw the line. I also wanted to comment on the idea of Biblical agape and hear your thoughts about how you would distinguish it from the secular, "tolerant" form of "agape". I have been defining Biblical agape as the unconditional desire to bring those around you to a saving knowledge of God through your prayers, words, and deeds. I'd like to hear your comments, additions or corrections. thanks

ReplyDeleteThanks again.
Should not the title be Mono-covenantalism, Bi-covenantalism and Multi-covenantalism?

ReplyDeleteBring it back!
ReplyDeleteI know it is off topic, but I'd like to warn your readers against facilitator-led church groups.
